On Thursday 1st April, 2020 the Anguilla Youth Business Foundation (AYBF) welcomed the newest member of the team, Schanice Busby, as the full-time Enterprise Development Officer.
Ms. Busby is a recent graduate of one of the UK’s leading business schools, Aston University. She is a conscientious young woman who stands firm in her belief that success is not given – it is earned. It is this mindset that has fueled her passion for business and propelled her to study International Business and Management.
As the Enterprise Development Officer, Ms. Busby will provide business support to new and existing clients of the Anguilla GET SET Entrepreneurial Programme, stimulate the creation of business opportunities, monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, assist in the coordination of the mentorship programme, prepare ongoing training programmes and continue work on the Innovate Anguilla Project.
The Anguilla Youth Business Foundation (AYBF) is a business service organisation established by the Department of Youth and Culture (DYC) and the Anguilla National Youth Council (ANYC), under the Anguilla Foundation Act, to provide business development and support services to young people residing in Anguilla.
The AYBF flagship programme, the Anguilla GET SET Entrepreneurial Programme, targets young persons between the ages of 18-35 by providing training in business development, business plan development services, business mentorship and start-up funding.
