The Anguilla Electricity Company is not taking any chances to be caught off guard during the approaching 2021 hurricane season.
Over the past several days its field crew has been travelling throughout the island trimming the tops of trees which had become entangled in the electrical cables on various utility poles. The tree-trimmers were observed in three locations on the Stoney Ground Main Road.

Likewise, persons on whose private properties there are entanglements of trees and electrical cables, are being encouraged to address the situation either by themselves or by calling the ANGLEC tree-cutting crew for assistance.
