Netball Coaching Certification Course Held in Anguilla 30th October – 3rd November, 2012 Venue: JRWP Conference Room

Certified Netball Trainers in Anguilla

The Department of Sports along with support from the Caribbean Netball Association (CNA) was successful in organizing a five day coaching course for persons actively involved in Netball here in Anguilla.  It was conducted by Grace Parkinson-Griffith, a certified Netball coach from Trinidad & Tobago.  A total of 11 persons, 9 women and 2 men completed the first stage of the Caribbean Netball Association Level One Course.

The Department would like to extend congratulations to the following persons on their achievements.

Delma Titre, Valencia Davis, Desiree Hennis, Linda Proctor, Garvin Laidlow, Carol Webster, Marjorie Prince, Henderson Burgess, Cherrydelle Cunningham-Coombs, Angelene Henry and Selvina Gumbs.

 

Having these persons certified will now enable the Department to utilize them in the Netball after school coaching programme and community programmes.
