MoneyGram Contributes To Anguilla Cancer Society

Staff of Anguilla Post Office

MoneyGram International through its local agent, the Anguilla Post Office, has partnered with the Anguilla Cancer Society In heightening cancer awareness during the month of October which was designated internationally as Cancer Awareness Month.

MoneyGram made a contribution of US$600.00 toward the providing of t-shirts worn during the Walk of Hope against Breast Cancer on Wednesday October 24th, 2012. The t-shirts were issued to the first sixty (60) persons who signed up for the walk which was organized by the Anguilla Cancer Society to raise funds earmarked for the sponsoring of free mammogram testing.

The staff at the Anguilla Post Office in solidarity with the Anguilla Cancer Society wore t-shirts to work on October 24th which were emblazoned with the breast cancer logo and the inscription, “Walk for a Cure”.

MoneyGram continues to be an affordable option for sending and receiving cash world-wide while also proving its worth as a good corporate sponsor of humanitarian causes.
