Young Anguillian Entrepreneur, Ms. Nzingha Banks has launched The Difference: Accounting and Business Solutions. Aimed at supporting small to medium businesses and organisations, the new venture is providing accounting and financial services and business strategy.
Nzingha, who returned home earlier this year, holds a dual Bachelors in Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance and a Masters of Accounting with specializations in Advisory, Consulting and Assurance/Audit. With a solid grounding in accounting, as well as business and finance, Nzingha says that she is not the traditional accountant, hence the basis for the name of her company. A past collegiate athlete, she brings her drive, discipline and passion for excellence to the business world. She thrives on taking her clients beyond the numbers to realise their business goals and potential.
Over the past eight years she has accumulated varied training and experience in small and medium-sized firms across multiple industries in the United States, establishing a track record in creative problem-solving and streamlining business processes.
For the past two years she has been operating as an Accountant/Business Strategist at Banks Concierge Law in the United States, where she consulted with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and corporations to plan and reach their financial goals. Armed with this experience and exposure, Nzingha has returned home to her beloved Anguilla to serve her country and share her expertise through The Difference: Accounting & Business Solutions.
She is mentored by Anguillian, Mr. Olaide Banks, a Certified Public Accountant and Attorney, who has an extensive background in Consulting, Law and Accounting. Mr. Banks is also the CFO and Senior Legal Counsel for Decision Information Resources in Houston, Texas. He will partner with Nzingha with any projects that require his expertise, support, and insight.
