ANGUILLA – 13th October 2020 – The Rotary Club of Anguilla, in partnership with the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset, announces the opening of a Free Little Library, an bookcase installation that invites the community to use the library as a book exchange and to read a book, take a book, and leave a book at their leisure.
Rotary’s Free Little Library was installed at 9 am on Wednesday, 14th October 2020 at the Best Buy Supermarket in West End.
“The library was built as an effort to promote and improve literacy within the community,” said Rotary of Anguilla President, Shameica Hodge.
Anyone can take a book or bring a book to share. Members of the public are encouraged to drop off a book or take a book to read. Let us promote literacy within our community.
Free Little Libraries work like traditional libraries but without cards or due dates. Free Little Libraries are a growing global phenomenon. The small book exchanges number 36,000 around the world in 70 countries. Now, a new Little Free Library is available in Anguilla.
