The Anguilla Cancer Society joins the rest of the world to highlight October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On Sunday 11th October, 2020, the Society started its activities with a church service at the Kingdom Vision Apostolic Church, The Farrington. This was a time to reflect and to give God thanks for his many blessings.

During the service some members of the Society shared with the congregation their journey of fighting breast cancer, ovarian cancer and prostate cancer. The youngest member shared that she was only 33 years old, and just had a baby, when diagnosed with breast cancer.

Pastor Allen preached from Isaiah 41 verse 10, a message of “Fear Not for God is with you”. His message and prayer by the congregation were very much appreciated by the Anguilla Cancer Society. The Society would like to state to the population that cancer is everybody’s business, as no one knows who will have to face the challenge of combatting this dreaded disease. The society would also like to take this opportunity to thank all its sponsors for the generous support that has enabled them to help others. Please see our list of activities for the month of October as members solicit your support.
