The Soroptimist Club of Anguilla extends condolences to Soroptimist Sister Ursula, and the family, on the passing of the late Sister Audrey Elizabeth Rogers.
Our sister attended many of the conferences hosted by the Soroptimist of Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) and Soroptimist International Caribbean Network (SICN) Conferences.
She will always be remembered for the many significant roles she undertook within the Club over the past years. Her passion and lively demeanour ensured that the Club had a visible presence in the community and beyond. Most memorable of the many projects and activities she spearheaded are the annual concerts where her melodious voice was appreciated, the Christmas Fair where she operated the popular hot dog stall with her sister Ursula, and the organisation of the annual raffle. Even during her illness, when she was unable to attend meetings, she kept in close contact with the sisters of the Club.
Thanks to God for the legacy she has left – which will always be remembered. May her soul rest in perpetual peace.
