Digicel and Infusion XL partnered and made history for the Anguilla Summer Festival’s One Day of Carnival Experience on Monday August 3rd, 2020.
The telecommunications giant continues to make better, bolder and BIGGER strides captivating the attention of all Anguillians throughout the duration of its Summer Promotion, which runs from July 10th through August 29th.

The promotion builds on Digicel’s existing Shake-to-Win promotion powered by the MyDigicel and BIP mobile applications, enabling customers guaranteed and Instant Wins for prizes such as Cash, Talk Minutes, handsets Data and Content already available in the App – now also including FREE entry into the GRAND PRIZE RAFFLE DRAW of a brand new 2020 Hyundai Grand i10 vehicle.
Digicel has made it a point to support all community events and activities thus the collaboration between Digicel and Infusion XL for the Anguilla Summer Festival One Day Experience. They affirmed the epitomizing statement of ‘Painting the Town RED’. It was evident along the J’ouvert route on Monday, August 3rd 2020, with the aid of smoke bombs, rags and other branding paraphernalia. Led by Digicel’s Marketing Executive, Ms. Roxanne Webster, and Infusion XL led by singers ‘Wiggy’ and ‘KC’, the collaboration also featured LIVE giveaways, compliments Digicel, at stops uniquely dubbed ‘RED ZONES’.

The Red Zones presented an opportunity for J’ouvert Revellers to enter into an exclusive BiP Messenger group chat specifically designed to reward its chat participants with prizes and surprises while en route for J’ouvert. Prizes included: Smartphones, CASH, Data and Credit.

Smartphone users simply scanned the QR code at the visibly branded Digicel Red Zones to be automatically added to the secret group. Thereafter, winners were announced by the Infusion XL band members throughout the jam.

Later that evening at Anguilla’s Summer Festival One Day Experience Stage Show, Digicel gave away EC$500 every hour on the hour at the August Monday Stage show event held in the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre. The event saw a total of 6 winners walking away with cold, hard cash.

According to Ms. Webster, “Digicel has consistently delivered Better, Bolder and BIGGER. This time around, we were able to give customers chances to win while enjoying and experiencing one day of culture and festivities. The ASF Committee created a unique opportunity by hosting the one day experience. We [Digicel] saw it fit to chip in and make August Monday even more worthwhile, and memorable, by giving customers more of what they want – a chance to WIN with Digicel.”
