Mr. Speaker, Fellow Anguillians at home and abroad, and all those listening to the sound of my voice, Greetings. I must give all praise and thanks to Almighty God for His Unfailing Love, His Divine Providence and His Everlasting Grace. Indeed, my steps are ordered by the Lord.
Mr. Speaker at this very moment, and on the eve of a General Election, many plans are afoot. However, as it is written in Proverbs Chapter 19 verse 21: “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”
Therefore, I choose to put my trust in God, leaning not to my own understanding; acknowledging Him in all my ways as He directs my path.
Mr. Speaker, I am fully satisfied that, as the sole member of Opposition in this Honourable House, I have been able, through the work of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and parliamentary questions, to hold this government accountable to the people of Anguilla. As the sole member of Opposition, I am fully satisfied that my contributions have raised the level of debate in this Honourable House; debates that were focused on policy, over politics and personalities. Mr. Speaker, with the highest level of integrity, I have worked diligently to fight for effective consultation, inclusion and good governance practice in the best interest of all Anguillians.

Mr. Speaker, my work has been guided by the One Anguilla Vision. This is the vision that will take Anguilla forward into a new era of prosperity. This vision is centred on Love, Unity, Respect, Good Governance and Equal Opportunity for ALL. It requires everyone to participate and work towards achieving a values-driven, economically secured, healthy and educated future for ALL our people. ONE Anguilla recognizes the importance of everyone, regardless of colour, creed, family background or social status – to thrive, participate, and make a valued contribution to nation building.
Mr. Speaker, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the people of District One who elected me to serve as their Representative and as Leader of the Opposition in this Honourable House for the last five years.
To my beloved people of District One: I know that you are listening and I want to sayhow proud I am to be your voice and your champion. It is your prayers, your support and your words of encouragement that have strengthened and sustained me during this period. I am with you and I know that you are with me. With Pam Webster –

District One is always First! With Pam Webster, District One is always Cared For! And with Pam Webster, District One is, and will always be, Well Represented!
