The event was held at the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, and included an 18-hole tournament – which is part of qualifying for Anguilla’s Three Country Challenge team – luncheon, silent auction and awards ceremony. Registration began at 8:30 a.m. with a shot gun tee-off at 9:30 a.m.
Organized by parents, Lisa & Scott DeLong, the golf tournament was part of the annual campaign to raise funds for much needed sleeping cots, security cameras and a new outside playground.

The event attracted 39 players including those from St Maarten. Also present was The Hon. Cardigan Connor, Parliamentary Secretary for sports.

The tournament was a huge success and raised US$8.939.00 to help support the safe and secure learning of pre-school students at TOPS. Monicia Webster, Principal of TOPS said: “We are thrilled at the success of the event. We would like to thank Lisa & Scott DeLong for organising the event and to all of our sponsors for their generous donations and community support. We take it as a personal challenge to help each child realize and capitalize on his/her full potential.”

Sponsors of the tournament included: CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, Tranquility Beach Resort, Zenaida Estate, Belmond Cap Jaluca, Frangipani Resort & Petals Boutique, Oyster Bay Resort, Les Grands Vins de France, CIB Anguilla Ltd, Four Seasons, Straw Hat, Picante, Sand Bar, Dolce Vita, Magoes, Veya, Meze, Ember, The Retreat, Round Rock Villa, John Vasatka, Anguilla Watersports, Emily Garlic, Waves, Fountain Anguilla and Roys Bayside Grill.
