Anguilla Open Campus Guild Of Students Donates To 2019 ‘Walk For The Cure’

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in October, the University of the West Indies Open Campus Anguilla Guild of Students donated US $150.00 to the‘Walk For The Cure’ in support of the Anguilla Cancer Society.

The Walk which took place on Friday 25th October 2019 commenced at the Ruthwill Auditorium, went on to the Shoal Bay Roundabout and back.
The Anguilla Guild of Students Deputy President, Melissa Harrigan, presented the cheque to Mrs. Jennifer Gumbs, President of the Anguilla Cancer Society. Mrs. Gumbs expressed her gratitude to Guild of Students for their continued contribution towards the Walk.

The contribution to the ‘Walk For The Cure’ will assist with further research to aid the fight against breast cancer.
