As one of the initiatives of the Earlyact Club of the Valley Primary School, we undertook the task of painting the national symbols on a portion of the school’s wall. This venture would not have materialized without the valued contributions of many persons.
Our heartfelt thanks are extended to Mr. Wilmoth Richardson, proprietor of DA & A Paints, who, without hesitation, agreed to supply us with all the paint needed for the project. Thanks are also extended to Brooks and Sons Paint Shop who so willingly donated all the painting materials required. We sincerely appreciate the monetary contributions given by Anglec and Mr. Remington Lake. Much needed and well appreciated refreshments were also supplied by Mr. Ken Banks.
We applaud the time and effort of Ms. Utonya Browne who outlined all the national symbols. Our hard working artists must also be commended. First and foremost, we recognize the hard work of Ms. Kenesha Gumbs, who worked unceasingly until the project’s completion. She was assisted by Mr. Jerome Ritchie, Ms. Natasha McFarlane, Mr. Juan Romaro, Earlyact advisors, Trs. Kenda and Marville, and members of the VPS Earlyact Club.
Due to the hard work and commitment of the various participants, we now have a beautiful mural displaying our national symbols. Once again, thanks to all.
