REGISTRATION OF WELL DIGGERS AND AUTHORISED WELL PUMP INSTALLERS

In accordance with the Anguilla Water and Wells Act and Regulations R.S.A, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, Utilities, Housing, Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment (MICUHAFE) wishes to hereby alert all interested parties of the Wells and Water Act and Regulations.

The MICUHAFE immediately requests that all persons and businesses that are actively involved with or have the intent to be involved with, well drilling and the associated services as governed by the Wells and Water Act and Regulations, to formally adhere to the Act and its Regulations.

All persons and or business to which this applies are asked to come to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, Utilities, Housing, Agriculture, Fisheries and environment and apply through the proper procedure to be an authorized Well Driller and an authorized well pump installer. Please contact the Technical Officer Utilities at the Ministry as soon as possible to address this matter.

Interested or affected persons must complete the appropriate application process and provide all the required supporting documentation (certificate/s of training or past documented experience etc.) for consideration of approval. Failure to comply by the 15th September 2019 will result in appropriate action being taken by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, Utilities, Housing, Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment (MICUHAFE) on behalf of Government of Anguilla. The Ministry appreciates the full cooperation of all persons and or businesses on this matter.
