SOCIAL SECURITY OBSERVES 105th BIRTHDAY OF MRS. IRENE V. LAKE

In keeping with its recognition programme to observe the milestone birthdays of Anguilla’s centenarians, the Social Security Board showed appreciation to Mrs. Irene V. Lake, of the Forest, on her attainment of 105 years. Mrs. Irene Lake, celebrated her 105th birthday on Thursday, 8th August 2019. Representatives of the Social Security Office (Dr. Maglan Lewis – Deputy Director, Donna Gumbs – Internal Auditor; and Rosanna Browne – Public Relations Officer) visited Mrs. Lake and presented her with a card and a cheque of EC$500.00 as a monetary gift.

To the birthday celebrant, Irene V. Lake, the Social Security Board wishes you a happy 105th birthday. “Count not the candles…See the lights they give. Count not the years, but the life you live.” Wishing you a wonderful time ahead and God’s continued blessings for many more years to come. Keep on batting, Irene!
The Board has a programme in place which observes the birthdays of centenarians in the community and awards them a monetary gift of EC$500.00.
