HOTEL TEAMS TAKE LEADING PLACES IN FUN DAY EVENTS

Four Seasons Resort & Residencies Anguilla

The results of the various sporting competitions held in Anguilla at the Ronald Webster Park on Wednesday, May 1, to mark the Labour Day holiday, have now been tabulated and announced.

The occasion was hailed as a success, with up to teams, drawn for the public and private sectors, participating in their particular sponsorship colours.
At the end of a well-spent and enjoyable day, Four Seasons Resort & Residencies emerged as the 2019 Fun Day Champions. The trophies for the Largest Team and Cheer Leading Champion went to Resort & Residencies by CuisinArt. The Tug-of-War Champions were the Royal Anguilla Police Team.

The full results were as follows:

• 1st: Four Seasons Resort & Residencies
• 2nd: Police
• 3rd: International Wines and Spirits
• 4th: Belmond Cap Juluca
• 5th: Resorts & Residencies by CuisinArt
• 6th: Health Authority
• 7th: Government
• 8th: Anguilla Social Security
• 9th: Anguilla Teachers’ Union
• 10th: Customs Department
The Anguilla Athletic Federation and the Department of Sports, along with a number of sponsors, led by Tropical Shipping, collaborated to make Fun Day 2019 the success it has been.
