1st place Flamingos
2nd place Falcons
3rd place The Masters

After four weeks of grueling action, the Nagico sponsored four versus four league concluded on Monday 15th April, 2019. It was a fantastic four weeks, complete with aces, blocks, and spikes alike.

The tournament would not have been possible without the participation of the Anguilla Amateur Volleyball Association’s ten registered teams, namely Refresh, The Masters, Vets, Pirates, Falcons, Flamingos, Sunrisers, Vikings, Ghost Lighters and Ti Pwoblem. Thanks is also extended to Nagico, our gracious sponsor for this debut league.

The teams played the best of three sets to fifteen points, every weekend – round Robin style – and were ranked according to wins and losses. Teams ranking third to sixth progressed to the quarter finals, then the qualifying teams advanced to the semifinals and ultimately the finals. First, second and third places were attained by Flamingos, Falcons and The Masters respectively – and they will receive monetary rewards for their achievements.

Stay tuned for the Association’s upcoming local league for the month of May. Also, be sure to like and follow our facebook page to keep up to date with other upcoming events.
