The second half of the seminar featured interactive sessions facilitated by Ms. Countess (Lisa) Rey (Carnival Chair/Entrepreneur), Ms. Amethyst Davis (Miss Anguilla 2013-2014), Ms. Carencia Rouse (Miss Anguilla 2016-2017) and Ms. Mikeela Skellekie (Reigning Miss Anguilla 2018-2019). This section of the seminar was dubbed Bringing out the Confident Queen in you, and focused on female empowerment and inspiring young females to become successful women.
Principal Mrs. Rita Carty, staff and students of the ALHCS wish to thank all the aforementioned facilitators, inclusive of the members of the Church of God of Prophecy, for the provision of refreshments.
The Virtuous Ladies Seminar coincided with International Women’s Day 2019, and was indeed a fitting way to commemorate the significance of the day which was celebrated under the theme “Balance for Better.”
