Renovation work is in progress on the Sol Ltd. West End Gas Station whose proprietor is Mr. Desmond (Shine) Richardson.

The work commenced on Friday, January 18 and, according to Shine, it should last for four to six weeks during which the fuel station will remain closed. The work is being carried out by a Canadian team assisted by workmen from Anguilla and the Dominican Republic.
The fuel station was damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017 but continued to serve motorists in West End as well as others travelling in that area.

Shine said, the opportunity was being taken to relocate both the underground gasoline and diesel fuel tanks as their previous locations were not easily accessible to the delivery trucks.
