ANNOUNCEMENT OF NATIONAL ARTS AND CULTURE AWARDS 2018 HONOUREES

The Department of Youth and Culture would like to congratulate the Principal, Teachers and Students of The Valley Primary School on another successful installation of a Student Council Body which was held on Wednesday 5th December, 2018.

The Installation Ceremony was chaired by Tr. Carina Richardson (Student Council Advisor). Brief remarks were delivered by Jocelyne Mills – Programme Officer, Youth (Department of Youth and Culture).

The President of the Anguilla National Youth Council, Mr. Neil Gumbs, administered the Oath of Office and signing of the Appointment Instruments. The Ceremony concluded with the distribution of Certificates and the vote of thanks by the newly elected VPS Student Council President, Alannis Hodge.

The members of the New Executive Body are:
Alannis Hodge – President
Kevisha Smith – Vice President
Reanne Richardson – Secretary
Tsehai Carty – Assistant Secretary
Cheole Thompson – Treasurer
Jahselah Bruno – Public Relations Officer
Rohan Richardson – Sergeant at Arms
Leon Claxton Commissioner of School Spirit Service

Grade Representatives
Kindergarten – Zahra Lewis
Grade One – Camia Gumbs
Grade Two – Michael Skellekie
Grade Three – Ashayla Desouza
Grade Four – Zariah Roach
Grade Five – Destin Webster
Grade Six – Keante Brooks

The Department of Youth and Culture remain committed to supporting all Student Councils in Anguilla. It wishes the members a successful term.
