In making the announcement to The Anguillian newspaper, Mr. Neville Hamilton, the Supermarket’s Floor Manager, said “the gesture valued at EC$3,500 is to be shared equally amongst the staff” at the Health Authority.
Replying, Mrs. Maeza Demis-Adams, CEO of the Health Authority, wrote:
“On behalf of the Health Authority of Anguilla I extend sincere gratitude to the Management and Staff of Ashley & Sons Supermarket for this gesture of gratitude. The time and thoughtfulness that went into this act is demonstrative of the company’s dedication to customers and by extension the population.

The staff at the Health Authority give of themselves every day working to improve the wellbeing of citizens. This work oftentimes goes unrecognised but takes great commitment to serving others. Thank you for appreciating us.
