The H.O.P.E. Centre Ltd. has once again made its annual contribution of school books and school supplies to the Morris Vanterpool Primary School. On Monday, 17th September 2018, the Centre Manager, Ms. Josette Duncan, and Founder and Adviser to the Centre, the Honourable Minister of Home Affairs and Education, Mrs. Cora Richardson Hodge, delivered the supplies to the school. The supplies included notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, glue, folders and other items which are to be used by both students and teachers.
Special thanks is extended to Mrs. Ami Hunte and Mr. Kent Webster for their annual contribution of books and other items, not only to Morris Vanterpool, but to other primary schools and pre-schools as well. Some donated items were also received from the UK. The items were organized and shipped free of charge from the U.K. to Anguilla by Mr. Steve (“Bess”) Gumbs of Bess Transport.
Mrs. Cora Richardson Hodge stated, “This year makes five years (from 2013) that the H.O.P.E. Centre and I have made annual contributions of school supplies to Morris Vanterpool. It is an honour to serve, and we will continue to do so as long as God gives us the strength, the will and the way.”
