The Commissioner and Officers of the Royal Anguilla Police Force are the recipients of several gift items which were made possible by the United Kingdom Police Forces acting through the Merseyside and Cheshire Commonwealth Association. The items received include riot shields, portable lights, a CTR 6300 110V Transformer, one tower Lux inflatable, two twin cables, five 110v extension cables, 4 euro lights, one Honda generator, one top box and roll tool cabinet with an assortment of tools, a lot of garden tools and implements which include pitchforks, shovel, spades, lump hammer, bolt cutter, six Police pedal bikes and two Suzuki off road motorbikes.
Upon receiving the items Commissioner of Police, Mr. Paul Morrison, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the UK public which was instrumental in facilitating their delivery. He further stated that the items received will go a long way in helping the Royal Anguilla Police Force deliver policing services in times of normality – and even when the county is in a more challenged position which is in keeping with the overall dispensation of the organization’s policing strategy 2016 – 2019.
The items delivered were part of a consignment for the BVI and Anguilla which at a total cost of US$27,000.00.
