The Atlantic Hurricane Season is upon us and the management of the Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (CJLIA) under the Board of Directors of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) wishes to inform and encourage owners, their authorized representatives or other duly authorized parties responsible for derelict aircrafts, aircraft spares and parts and/or any other derelict or hazardous materials and machinery not the property of the Airport to remove the said articles, immediately, from within the perimeter of the CJLIA. The AASPA will allow a period until Friday, 31 August 2018 for any owner or authorized person who wishes to remove property representing any of the above items to do so with all due haste in accordance with the CJLIA’s operating procedures.
Failure to remove the above items within the specified date will result in the aforementioned articles being transported to the Corito Landfill and the owners being billed for the cost of removal incurred by the AASPA.

The management of the CJLIA wishes to emphasize to all parties that the removal of the said items will help to ensure proper mitigation of hazard risk at the Airport especially during the hurricane season. Such action to protect life and property must be undertaken as a normal part of the operation of the Aerodrome at the CJLIA.

The Board, management and staff of the AASPA extend gratitude to all for their compliance.
