Scenes of house fire

Mr. Samuel “Seeny” Rogers, a resident of the Keys in Island Harbour, has suffered the loss of his home which was destroyed by fire in the late morning hours of Wednesday, July 25th.
Mr. Rogers, who lived alone, and who was at work at the time, said he had no clue as to what sparked the fire. The Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene when one neighbour noticed smoke emitting from the concrete structure. However, before the firemen could extinguish the blaze, the flames had engulfed the house which was left almost entirely gutted.

The Anguillian sympathizes with “Seeny” at this time of his loss, and hopes that it won’t be long before he can restore his home.
