The Honourable Minister of Infrastructure Curtis Richardson led a delegation of 7 to Trinidad for 5 days.
On Monday, May 21 and is scheduled to return to Anguilla on Friday May 25.
The general theme of the Investment and Collaboration Mission, is “the mobilization of Caribbean capacity in the redevelopment of the Northern Caribbean.”
On Tuesday the team comprising Mrs. Althea Hodge of the Anguilla Development Board, Mr. Carlyle Franklin of Social Security and Jameel Roschester of the Tourism Board, Mr. Clement Ruan of the Business Community, Mr. Julian Daniel the Government Infrastructural Advisor, and Mr. Marcel Fahie, Chairman of the Anguilla Air and Sea Port Authority held meetings with the main organisers in Trinidad and made several visits to key industrial sectors and businesses.
On Wednesday the team had a forum with the theme being “Rebuilding With Resilence After A Natural Disaster.” Session 2 was “Building A Multi-stakeholders Platform of Partnerships.” and Session 3 involved conversations with Government and the Private Sector.
Thursday May 24, include discussions on the various opportunities available for building partnerships for Investment and collaboration.
