| Over the past weekend, residents at Island Harbour, in particular, gazed out to sea as new and large clusters of sea moss approached the shoreline. |
Once again the moss has littered much of that beach as well as other eastern beaches. A few weeks ago, when it was first washed ashore, a number of persons took away piles of the moss for use as fertilizer. There were later complaints that it caused ‘burning’ damage to plants. |
