The Primary and Secondary Schools in Anguilla have benefited from a donation of textbooks by Macmillan Caribbean Publishers. Macmillan Caribbean Publishers has responded to the extensive damage sustained by schools and their education resources, as a result of the passage of Hurricane Irma, by donating classroom sets of both primary and secondary Health and Family Life Education textbooks as well as the accompanying Teachers Guides.

The Coral Reef Bookstore facilitated this donation, which included acting as liaison between Macmillan Caribbean Representatives and the Department of Education, to identify needs and meeting the costs associated with the clearance and delivery of the donated items.

The Education officials have thanked Macmillan Caribbean Publishers for their kind donation, noting that the sets already purchased for the PSHE classes at the Secondary School were destroyed in the hurricane.
