The H.O.P.E. Centre Ltd. once again delivered on its annual contribution of school books and school supplies to the Morris Vanterpool Primary School. On Monday, 20th November 2017 the Centre Manager, Ms. Josette Duncan, and Founder and Adviser to the Centre, Honourable Minister of Home Affairs, Mrs. Cora Richardson Hodge, delivered the supplies to the school. The supplies included notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, glue, scissors and other items which are to be used by both students and teachers.
This year, a special donation of sporting equipment, such as a soccer net and various balls (soccer, tennis, etc.), was also made to the School as a result of H.O.P.E. Centre receiving a container of relief items from group of individuals living in Canada, headed by Ms. Nicolee Hathaway of Sweet Return Villa located in Long Bay, Anguilla. Distribution of the container of items took place on the 19th and 20th November 2017 on the grounds of Tropical Distributors Ltd. located in the Long Path, Anguilla.
The Centre also made a similar contribution of school supplies to the James Ronald Webster Preschool located in East End, Anguilla.
Special thanks was extended to Nicolee Hathaway and her team for identifying, sourcing and organising the relief items that were sent to the H.O.P.E. Centre.
