Formerly known as Panache Couture by young designer Charla Hobson, the event will feature four collections inspired by the theme soaring.

“The past few years have been challenging for all of us but hope has kept us going,” said the young designer, “It has enabled us to surpass boundaries, exceed limits, overcome challenges, confront fears, excel consistently, defy gravity, fly high- SOAR! Hence the name of the theme soaring.”

Hobson, who holds a BFA in Fashion Marketing and Management, and a minor in Fashion Design, shed some insight into her collection, “After doing extensive trend research and analysis, international trends were identified and integrated into each collection that will be presented. A surprise new addition to the House of Panache entity will also be revealed on the evening of the show.

Mrs Hobson, who is quite pleased with her accomplishments, said: “Life is all about evolving and growth. So many things have transpired since the birth of my line, I’ve become a woman, I’ve become a mom, a wife, and I’ve been exposed to new places, people and experiences- so I’ve grown. I’ve matured as a person and as a designer.”

“After two years of absence my intent is to show the Anguillian public the growth and maturity of my clothing line through my designs.”

“My design aesthetic has not changed, rather it has evolved. I’ve still held on to the core vision for my line, “distinctive style, elegance and confidence. Changing the brand name to House of Panache has removed limitations. I’ve now created a broader umbrella from which I can develop my other design pursuits.”

She said behind House of Panache was a team which comprised positive young women who had participated in other local pageant shows and who were continuing to have a positive presence in the Anguilla community.

The executive members comprise Charonay Carty, Model Team Director; Curlee Gumbs, Events and Marketing Manager; Khondah Hazel, Creative Consultant and the Designer, Charla Hobson, President.

There are also 12 senior members and House of Panache currently has 12 trial models training.

Mrs Hobson has expressed thanks to her family, friends, and various businesses that have sponsored and supported House of Panache over the years.
