The Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Anguilla Revolution on Friday, 2nd June 2017 with a Grand Gala honouring the Past Principals and Acting Principals of the Valley Secondary School and the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School.

This Red Carpet event was hosted by the dynamic Mr Vanburn Brooks. A full house of 150 guests turned out, at Italia Restaurant at CuisinArt to share in this historic event.

Guests were treated to several renditions by Mr Michael “Dumpa” Martin, and the ALHCS school choir directed by Mrs Daphne Jacobs Richardson. Miss T’arah Niles shared a timely and appropriate message through one of her very own poetry compositions.

Mrs Navene Mairyshaw, Head of the Visual Arts Department at the ALHCS, painted a beautiful picture just for the occasion. Ms Joyce Stuart, current principal of the ALHCS, presented the painting to Mr Stephan Zaharia, General Manager of CuisinArt, as a token of appreciation for his generous sponsorship of the first annual ALHCS GALA.
