The Raymond E. Guishard Football Stadium came to life, on Sunday 21 May, with a super combined male and female football match.
The super action began with a brief opening ceremony of the Female Football League followed by the soccerama event in which all five female clubs; Shining Stars FC, Lil Soldiers FC, Gazelles FC, De Youngster FC and Super Stars FC participated. The Super Stars FC emerged victorious in the finals of Soccerama against Shining Stars FC.
Following the female soccerama event, the male football league came to an end with a high intensive and exciting All Star match. It involved the season’s favorites and the dominant Roaring Lions FC versus a selected All Star Team, which comprised players from other participating clubs.
This was followed by the male league closing ceremony and distribution of awards. The male teams this year included: Docs United, Spartans FC, Attackers FC, Diamonds FC, Salsa Ballers FC, Police Enforcers FC, Kicks United FC, Uprising FC and the Roaring Lions FC.
