West End Community Development Centre Open House

Members of the public were invited to the West End Community Development Centre – Open House – on Wednesday 26th April 2017.

The Community Centre opened its doors on January 2016 and is the vision of the Department of Youth and Culture and the Ministry of Social Development.

Attendees were given a brief tour of the facilities as well as information on the purpose and use of the Centre. The Centre offers classes in areas such as Information and Communication Technology for both adults and children, and afterschool classes for students to assist them with their homework and other school activities.

The Community Centre is open Monday to Friday for use by residents of the West End and Long Bay communities. Persons are urged to sign up at the facility for classes, events or other activities.
