St. Dominic High School and Omololu International School students

On Friday, March 3, students in Grade 6 at Omololu International School traveled to Saint Martin for a day of collaboration and adventure with the International Baccalaureate students from Saint Dominic High School.
Upon arriving at the school, the OIS students were treated to a full tour of the impressive campus – being introduced to many students and faculty members along the way. Afterwards, all the students took part in a few educational games before taking part in the St. Dominic’s Annual Science Fair and then touring the historic Fort Louis, looking over the town of Marigot on the French side of the island.
This is the second time the two groups have collaborated. Previously, select students from Saint Dominic’s traveled to Anguilla and engaged in a number of team building activities with the Omololu International School.
Both schools view this as the beginning of a lasting partnership – with teachers and students both brainstorming future activities and learning opportunities that will benefit all involved. At least one more such collaboration is planned for this school year.
Omololu International School embraces holistic and experiential approaches to learning about our world, equipping students with meaningful understanding and skill sets to lead successful lives and to make a positive contribution to society. As an authorized Primary Years Programme World School, OIS upholds the ideals of preparing its students for lives as global citizens. Registration for the 2017-18 School Year is now open and offers special pricing for Anguillian students.
