CUISINART RESORT CLOSES SEASON WITH STAFF PARTY AND AWARDS

A mass staff party and awards presentation ceremony, at which many members of the public were also in attendance, marked the closing of CuisinArt Resort and Spa, from Monday, August 29 to October 15, for the end of season break. The event also marked the 11th anniversary of the resort.

The first awardees listed on the programme were five top performers. They were the Employer of the season, Eugene Hodge, who won a glass plaque; a complimentary stay of three nights for two at Peter Island Resort in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and US$200; Team Leader of the season, Auturo Richardson, whose prizes were a glass plaque, a complimentary three-night stay for two at Curtain Bluff in Antigua and US$200.

Ambassador of the season was Lester Gumbs, winner of a glass plaque, a complimentary three-night stay for two at Rosewood, Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda and US$225; Supervisor of the season was Kendra Gajadhar, who won a glass plaque, a complimentary three-night stay for two at Four Seasons in Nevis and US$250; and Manager of the season was Brian Corbett, winner of a glass plaque , a complimentary three-night stay for two at El San Juan Hotel and Casino in Puerto Rico and US$300.

Special recognition was given to a number of staff members with ten years of service. Those who served from 2000-2010 are Ysaida Abdul Hamid, Fran Baker, Cicelyn Carty, Lisa Clarke, Ramona Clarke, Ronald Connor, Sila Connor, Ethel Duncan, Andre Hughes, George Maynard-Richardson, Jose Reyes, Avril Richardson, Melva Richardson, Meredith Richardson, Roycelyn Richardson and Carlos Sasso.

The other employees with ten years of service are Kay Bell, EnaBoasman-Hodge, Aldrin Carty, NeivanGlaxton, Kendra Edwards, JadiraFransisca, LinettHarrigan, RenukaHarrigan, Sherri Hughes-Morton,Rohan Maynard, Menelva Proctor, Eurpy Richardson and Juleta Richardson.
Three employees with no late or sick reports on the register were presented with US$100. They are Andrea Brooks, Oliver Carty and Marilyn Williams.
