On Saturday January 21 members of the Rotary Club donated a plaque to Mr Albert Lake in appreciation of his support of the Club’s Blood Bank project.
Mr and Mrs Lake had donated a ½ acre of land to the Rotary Club which was raffled to raise funds for the Blood Bank that is considered an important addition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. The equipment from Germany is now ready to be transported to Anguilla.

The many Rotarian friends of the Lakes spoke at the presentation saying that they will always be indebted to him for the donation, and thanked the couple for their generosity.

The winner of the raffle was Quintin Meilhac, optician at The Valley Optic in the Mason Complex.
