TEN HONOURED ON ANGUILLA DAY

Badges of Honour and Queen Certificates were awarded to ten Anguillians, some posthumously, at the Anguilla Day Official Parade on the Ronald Webster Park on Wednesday, May 30.

The presentations to the awardees or their representatives were made by Chief Minister, Hubert Hughes, assisted by the reigning Miss Anguilla, Olufunmike Banks-Devonish. The awards were either for contributions to the Anguilla Revolution or to the Social Development of the island.

The awardees were: Thomas Petty (Revolution); David Bryan  (Revolution, Posthumously and received by his son); Gifford Richardson (Revolution); Edmeade Smith (Revolution and received by his daughter Chris); John Thomas (posthumously); Randolph Webster (Social Development, Posthumously and received by Elridge Webster); Elridge Webster (Social Development); Leopold Richardson (Posthumously and received by his daughter); Patricia Adams (Social Development); and Teacher Roslyn Pond (Social Development and received by Hazel Brooks).
