On Saturday 19th November, Roxanne ‘Roxxy’ Webster proudly announced that a traditional and jolly Christmas jingle is in process. “This could not be possible without the participation of the 2016 Junior Calypsonians. I am hopeful that this jingle would spread cheer and excitement to all,” she stated.
Ms. Webster added: “As Anguilla’s 2016 National Calypso & Leeward Island Calypso Monarch, my intentions are to inspire, uplift and assist with the Junior Calypso Artists overall stage performance, professional and personal development. I am motivated to keep the Anguillian Youth actively involved and our culture vibrant and alive.”
She looks forward to working with such a talented group of individuals and modestly anticipates continuous support and encouragement from the general public. All are encouraged to stay tuned to local radio stations for updates and interviews leading to the release of the Christmas Calypso jingle dubbed ‘Anguilla Christmas’
