Fire Department Personnel
Installing Fire Extinguisher

Officers of the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service are stressing the importance of members of the public and the business community installing fire protection devices at their premises.

The repeated call has come as the department’s personnel are engaged in installing smoke alarms and fire extinguishers in schools, youth centres and other vulnerable places on the island.

The installation of such equipment will make the work of the Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service easier. At the same time, it will ensure that occupants of many public and private sector buildings have the capability of protecting themselves from domestic fires.

Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are easily available at hardware stores and other places in Anguilla.
