While the older students at the Alwyn Allison Primary School engaged in their normal classroom work, the younger students in the lower classes had some enjoyable, but rigid, exercises and sporting activities on the separate playgrounds there.

Their particularly-engaged day, when they were marched from their classrooms for the external events, was on Friday, September 9. They were under the supervision of four Physical Educators: Frankie Claxton, Everett Claxton, John Martin, and Trevor Davis (Ras Bucket).

Physical Education training is a major part of the social activities in all schools on the island. It is particularly interesting and useful when four teachers are available to deliver the separate exercises and training at any one time.
