Wet Fete 4 –Totally Insane, brought the water, the rain, the foam and the performers all together in one spot on Saturday July 23rd, at the Fairplay Commercial Complex to jumpstart the 2016 carnival activities. The record breaking show which saw over 4,200 patrons in attendance was put on by promoter Sean Fitzpatrick and his team at Revolution Entertainment.

The jam packed line up featured a number of local and regional acts which included: Signal Band – Dominica; Blackest and Fusion Band; 4M HD; Demolition Band; Bling Breezy; Strike Up Band; Xplosion Band; Infusion XL – Anguilla; Nayee from WCK; De Movements Band (DMB) – Anguilla; Fusion Band – St. Croix Roadmarch Champion; Dread Ites – Anguilla;

Kings of the Nation – Anguilla; Meddi; Xtra Power Band – Anguilla; Nicha B – 2015 St. Kitts Soca Monarch; Dj Outkast; Dj Jeanie; Dj Yooshe and 2015 Wet Fete Champions, Pantha Vibes International (PVI) – Anguilla.
Exodus HD, the 2014 Wet Fete Champions and 2015 Roadmarch Champions was also slated for a guest performance, however, was unable to perform due to elapsed time.

A total of 14 performers participated in the Wet Fete song competition. Pantha vibes International reclaimed its title for the Best Wet Fete Song Competition with a total of 79 points with its song ‘Run Bring Water’. The band received a cash prize of US $5,000 and a Championship Belt. Infusion XL’s ‘Bus Ah Pipe’ claimed second prize with 73 points and received a cash prize of US $2500 along with a trophy. De Movements Band ft Sham Pluss claimed third prize with their song ‘Water Man’, amassing a total of 72 points. There were also cash prizes given out for the Best Wet Fete Outfit and a Wet T-shirt Contest, winners received US $500 each.
Wet fete will be celebrating its fifth anniversary next year on July 22nd, 2017, at the Fairplay Commercial Complex and is expected to be bigger and better.
