Saturday, 9th July 2016 marked the dawning of a new era for the Anguilla Toastmasters Club as the new executive acceded to guiding the club for the 2016/17 Toastmasters year. The new guardians of the Anguilla Toastmasters Club were installed on the June 28th at the club’s Annual Change of Board and Installation of Officers Ceremony.
Now led by their effervescent leader TM Rosanna Browne ACS/ALB as President, the executive team comprises of TM Doreen Bucknor CC, Vice President of Education (VPE), TM Susan Hodge ACB/ALB, Vice President of Membership (VPM), TM Cleo Hamm CC/ALB, Vice President of Public Relations (VPPR), TM Joycelyn Greenaway CC/ALB, Club Secretary, TM Crefton Gumbs, Club Treasurer and TM Wade Richardson CC as the Club’s Sergeant-At-Arms (SAA). The new executive took charge of their various portfolios under the theme “Member driven, Member focused, Members first…always”.
The Anguilla Toastmasters Club is a member of Toastmasters International, an organization that serves to improve the communication and leadership skills of its affiliates. This is achieved through the use of guided education programs that are self-paced and a solid support system to help members attain their personal goals.
President Rosanna Browne and her Executive Team extend an invitation to the general public to fellowship with the Anguilla Toastmasters Club. The club meets every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at the Anguilla Community College, George Hill at 7:00 pm.
