POLICE AND PRISON HEADS SIGN MOU

Commissioner Mr. Paul Morrison and Superintendent of Prisons Mr. Conrad Gumbs

Commissioner of the Royal Anguilla Police Force, Mr. Paul Morrison, and Superintendent of Prisons, Mr. Conrad Gumbs, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to share information regarding persons committing offences and other security matters. The agreement was signed on Tuesday, July 5, at Police Headquarters.

Commissioner Morrison said the undertaking had been lingering since 2007 and it was now a good time to have it signed off. “It will allow us to move information between the two organisations which would be for the safety and protection of Anguilla on a whole,” he explained. It will also help to reduce the exposure of prisoners to harm as well.
