Pastor Lucien Mac Donna, an influential Minister and Evangelist in Anguilla, has been ordained as an Apostle. He has thirty years as a preacher, a church planter in the Caribbean and an evangelist in Europe, and North and South America.
Chairman of the Anguilla Evangelical Association, he is also the Pastor of the Life Impact Center in the western area of the island. Prior to 2009, the center was known as the Christian Assembly Church.

Pastor Mac Donna first set up a church at North Hill, in his late teens, before venturing out in the mission field afresh at the Mahogany Grove, Long Bay. After several setbacks, in his early ministry, and a redefining of his call, he rebounded as a prolific preacher and evangelist with support from the Christian Assemblies, in his native St. Maarten, led by his close Associate, Pastor Rosmond Romney. It is a matter of good fortune, discipleship and camaraderie, that his ordination was performed by that outgoing Apostle Romney.

With his ordination, on Sunday, June 26, Mac Donna has now taken on the mantle of leadership from Romney with responsibility for the ministry of the church in Anguilla, St. Maarten and various other regional islands – a total of seven.
Anguilla’s Chief Minister, Mr. Victor Banks, was among many persons from throughout Anguilla in attendance. Noting Pastor Mac Donna’s challenges and personal experiences, over the years, he commended him for not giving up and for eventually reaching his Thirtieth Anniversary milestone.
The Chief Minister continued: “This magnificent edifice that was constructed here by this ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Mac Donna, is a testimony to the kind of person he is, and the kind of leadership [qualities] he has. I am sure that he continues to inspire the members of this church not only in Anguilla, but in St. Maarten and every part of the region and the world where he has worked.

“His outreach has been in the community. He is very concerned about things that are happening in the community. That’s why he is my friend and colleague – because he is there to give support to all of us who have the awesome responsibility of leadership of country. It is not me alone, but this Government, the past Government, the Opposition and everybody…[to which he gives] his guidance, support and prayers. That is because we are all in this for the greater good of country.”

Several persons in ministerial roles, in Anguilla and St. Maarten, individually delivered short addresses in which they spoke highly about Apostle Lucien Mac Donna. They, and many other persons, joined in offering congratulations and very best wishes to him, his wife, Mrs. Pearline Mac Donna, and their three children.

Replying, the newly-ordained Apostle was grateful for their kind words and pledged to do all in his power, with the assistance of Divine Providence, to further the work of his ministry in Anguilla and abroad.
In addition to his duties in Anguilla at the Life Impact Center (where a preschool has been added), and his work as Chairman of the Evangelical Association, apostle Mac Donna serves as Chaplain of the Anguilla House of Assembly.
