The four contestants who revealed themselves to the Anguillian public on Sunday June 26th at Davidas Restaurant are more than excited as they continue their preparations for the show.
The contestants and their numbers are: 1 – Mekea Carty, 2 – Natalie Richardson, 3 – Latonya Mussington and 4 – Carencia Rouse.
They will compete in 7 segments; Introductory Speech, Performing Talent, Recycle Wear, Swimsuit, Costume, Evening Wear and Interview.
Most recently one of the accolades added for the lucky lady who captures the crown, is an all expense paid trip to China to participate in the Miss World University Pageant in January of the following year.
This year the pageant is under the theme ‘Reflections Of Paradise’ and will be held on Thursday August 4th at 8pm.
The Miss Anguilla Committee comprises of the Chairperson Lisa Rey assisted by Alfa Akbar and Regine Niles.
Ms. Marejah Smith heads the Regional Pageant Committee which is responsible for the preparation of the current Miss Anguilla and first runner up for Regional Pageants. Miss Anguilla Chelsey Hughes will participate in Miss Carival on July 1st and the 2015 1st Runner up Jahnel Nisbett will represent Anguilla at Miss Caribbean Culture on July 30th.
