Police Investigate Armed Robbery

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Saturday 9th April 2016 at 9:45 pm responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Island Gases Company Limited (Delta Petroleum) in the Long Path.
Initial investigation revealed that sometime shortly after 9:30pm whilst the proprietor and employees were locked inside the gas station three armed individuals attacked the premises. Two of the assailants forced their way into the building after discharging a shotgun and shooting out the glass door to the said building.
They then robbed the business of about EC $400.00 before fleeing the scene.
One of the alleged assailants was described as being about 5 feet 5 inches and his skin complexion was light.
As the Police continues the investigation into this matter they are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area of Island Gases Long Path on Friday 9th April 2016 and may have witnessed this robbery or have any information regarding this robbery to contact the Valley Police Station with such information. The telephone number is 497-2333 and asks for the Major Crime Unit or to speak to any Police Officer of their choice.
