2nd ANNUAL DIGICEL KICKSTART CLINIC IN ANGUILLA Featuring coaches from Manchester City FC

digiWednesday 6th April 2016 Anguilla, -Digicel continues to expand its support of Anguilla’s talented under 16 athletes, with the launch of its 2016 Kickstart football programme which will take place at Raymond E Guishard Technical Centre on April 10 and 11, 2016. Coaches from top Barclays Premier League team, Manchester City FC (MCFC), will be hosting the Clinics for the first time here in Anguilla.
The Kickstart programme was first introduced to Anguilla in the year 2015 and has helped last year’s players develop a vast amount of new skills and top finalists were able to challenge their ability’s with other kick start selected players from the Caribbean. For the 2016 kickstart programme, Digicel has partnered with Manchester City FC, which sees coaches from the City Football Schools programme traveling to the region to deliver intensive training courses as part of the Digicel Kickstart Clinics, this is another step towards ensuring that aspiring young players have an opportunity to take their game to the next level as they benefit from the Club’s expansive footballing expertise.
Digicel’s head of commercial, Kerchelle Jn Charles, said; “The Clinics are designed to develop Anguilla’s aspiring young footballers through intense two-day training sessions. Digicel is happy to support the footballers and the overall football association as they embark on a journey to becoming the best that they can be. Our partnership with Manchester City FC (MCFC), is one that guarantee’s that they will receive the best coaching available and we hope the boys will not only train hard, but have an Extraordinary time doing so.”
