The 2nbike2d Inter-territorial Youth Challenge between Anguilla, St. Maarten and St. Martin sponsored by Nagico Insurances was held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 on the Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Over 70 persons, both cyclists and spectators travelled from across the waters for the event.
Anguilla secured the following positions in the respective categories:

Pupilles (7-8 years)
1st Place – Kamari Ruan

Poussins (9-10 years)
3rd Place – Carden Fleming
6th Place – Dimitri Niles

Benjamines (11-12 Years)
3rd Place Justin Riley

Minimes (13-14 years)
1st Place – Nicholas Carbon
2nd Place – Carden Fleming
3rd Place – Deanthony Niles
4th Place – Kai Ruan
5th Place – Jacheem Richardson

Following the Youth challenge, the second competition of the Primary School Championships, sponsored by National Caribbean Insurance took place. The points thus far for the participating schools are as follows:

Omololu – 18 points
Orelia Kelly Primary School – 22 points
Central Christian School – 62 points
Morris Vanterpool Primary School – 70 points
Adrian T. Hazell Primary School – 89 points
Alwyn Allison Richardson Primary School – 128 points
Valley Primary School – 137 points

The event ended with the Elite, Master, Junior categories. Anguilla dominated in the Elite and Junior Categories with Xavi Brookes placing bike1st , Jamari Bryan – 2nd and Huekeemi Hughes – 3rd. In the Elite Category it was Joseph Hercules first, Hasani Hennis 2nd and Rockeem Romney 3rd.
The Anguilla Cycling Association extends thanks to The Royal Anguilla Police Force, Mr. Michael “Dumpa” Martin, Mr. Sanford Richardson, Casey Richardson, LIME, Junie Fleming, Management & Staff of Nicky V Ferry, our sponsors Nagico and National Caribbean Insurance,
principals and staff of the participating primary schools in the primary championships, parents of All cyclists and to the amy fans and supporters who in one way or another made the event the great success it was.
The youth challenge continues in Anguilla on 3rd April, 2016 and all other categories of cycling will also be competing.
