At Taste of the Caribbean, teams from all around the region will vie for honors including: Caribbean Culinary Team of the Year, Caribbean Chef of the Year, Caribbean Pastry Chef of the Year, Caribbean Bartender of the Year, Caribbean Junior Chef of the Year and Best Caribbean Chef in the category of Beef and Seafood.

Fundraising events prior to the CHTA culinary competition events include the Chef’s Showcase of Food Fundraiser on Sunday April, 3rd, and the now famous Mother’s Day Brunch, both events being held at Viceory Anguilla.
We are featuring some new and wonderful restaurants this year, and invite all to come out and support the team.

In effort to concentrate on Team practice and cooking techniques development, the third fundraiser has not yet been scheduled, and we will advise if we have a need to do another one.

The team is organized by the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association, and supported through the generosity of the Anguilla Tourist Board, Viceroy Anguilla, Cap Juluca Hotel, CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, Merchant’s Market Anguilla, Digicel, Straw Hat, and all the participating restaurants that come together to assist the team.

The Taste of Anguilla –A Culinary Team Showcase of Foods event will be announced shortly, with tickets being available for sale later this
week. Ticket prices will remain the same at US $ 75:00 per person.
Look out for the SAVE THE DATE for both events shortly. For more information about upcoming fundraising events and/or team sponsorship opportunities, please contact Gilda Gumbs Samuel at ahta@anguillanet.com or by phone at (264) 497-2944.
As the event draws nearer, be sure to stay up to date with all team happenings by following and “liking” the AHTA and the ANGUILLA NATIONAL CULINARY TEAM pages on Facebook.

We are grateful for the valuable support of you the Anguillian community in supporting the passion and the efforts of the Anguilla Culinary team
