DIGICEL FOUNDATION SUPPORTS EDUCATION IN HAITI

This past week the Digicel Foundation in Haiti inaugurated 5 new school construction projects: Ecole Communautaire de Bigue in Gros Morne, Ecole Mixte Emmanuel in Port-au-Prince, Ecole Nationale de Yayou in Saint Raphael, Ecole Nationale Charlemagne Péralte in Maissade, and Ecole Communautaire ANC of Grande Savane in Fort Jacques.

With the latest inaugurations, the total number of students who attend a school built by the Digicel Foundation has surpassed 52,000. Thus far, the Foundation has completed 158 school construction projects and is committed to reach 175 by December 2016.
